We only removed items for which we cannot claim they are the cause of the condition on the beach.

Neue Begründung:

The photos clearly show how the beach has changed over time. In recent years, the beach’s shape has drastically changed, altering the famous form that is a trademark of Bol. The visible anomalies could lead to irreversible damage, potentially turning this Adriatic gem into something unrecognizable. Climate change certainly plays an important role! However, some studies have been investigating for years that tourism, shipping traffic, and anchoring near The Golden Horn will have long-term consequences. Furthermore, structural projects also have an impact that has yet to be fully explored.Rightconsequences.Right here is where we can try to help restore the beach to its original form. This is something we can, and must, do. The beach has given us so much over the years – to tourism, and to each of us personally, as Zlatni Rat holds something magical that always brings us back. With this petition, we aim to implement some immediate solutions:

  1. Establishing designated anchoring zones further away from the beach to minimize impact on the seabed.
  2. Introducing stricter anchoring rules for all boats near the beach, with clear penalties for violators.
  3. Promoting alternative anchoring methods, such as floating pontoons, to protect the seabed.
  4. Regular monitoring and research of the marine ecosystem around Zlatni Rat to identify new threats early and enable swift action.
  5. Raising awareness among local authorities and tourists about the importance of preserving the beach and the negative consequences of anchoring in inappropriate locations.
  6. We expect all construction projects near or around the beach to involve experts and scientists before granting any concessions.

These measures can immediately help reduce damage and protect Zlatni Rat while long-term solutions are sought.Your signature can make a difference!

The changes in the shape of the beach cannot be attributed exclusively to climate change! We humans also bear responsibility for this!
