Our dogs are part of the family, they come on holiday with us. The eastern part of Carvajal beach, between the Holliday World Hotel and the Chiringuito Kalifato, which is hardly used by tourists, was for years a dog beach. The owners who went there always made sure that the beach remained clean and that other visitors were not disturbed. We ask that dogs be allowed to stay in this one area of each beach so that they can be with their owners. Those who do not wish to share the beach with dogs, please respect us, it was this way for a long time and there are enough other beaches you can go to. Of course, it is the responsibility of each dog owner to comply with the municipal rules.
Beaches are natural environments and we all have the right to enjoy them.

Our dogs are part of the family and want to enjoy the beaches with us. There are many dogs in Benalmadena, and many visitors who come with their dogs. For some years now there is no more beach in Benalmadena that allows dogs. The eastern part of Carvajal beach used to be a dog beach where the same families always went with their dogs and they didn't bother anyone. Tourists seldom go there because there are no beach bars and you have to walk a little to reach the beach.
Fun fact: While there is no beach which allow dogs in Benalmadena, Benalmadena has a lot of offical places where cats living in the streets, are fed even next to the hotels and beaches.
