Petition addressed to: Gstaad-Saanenland-Tourismus, Gemeinde Saanen

We call on GST (Gstaad Saanenland Tourism) and the municipality of Saanen to continue operating the cross-country ski trail between Gstaad and Gsteig – or at least the Gstaad–Feutersoey section – whenever snow conditions permit, and to maintain it for both classic and skating techniques.

Reason

Why this trail is important:

It is ideal for all ages and ability levels – from families, beginners, and seniors to ambitious cross-country skiers.
It is regularly used by locals, residents, and visitors. The local youth cross-country ski club also uses the trail for training sessions.
The trail is accessible on foot from downtown Gstaad, and the entire route is easily reachable by public transport.
It contributes to Gstaad's appeal as the region's central winter sports resort.

Losing this trail would be a loss for the region and its residents and visitors.
