Das Gebäudeensemble hat eine hohe baukulturelle Bedeutung. Es ist im zeittypischen «Heimatstil» gebaut, der regionaltypische Elemente in klassizistischer Art kombiniert. Durch seine Lage an einer markanten Aussichtsposition ausserhalb des Dorfes ist es identitäts-bildend für die Landschaft. Aufgrund des baukulturellen Wertes müsste eine Unterschutzstellung beantragt werden.
