There is a limited space of quality venues in the city that dancers can use for their workshops.
Dancing is life.
Because we are regularly using the community centre for our performance group as well as for bachata workshops and we desperately need mirrors for our community
Being a regular user of this facility for dance and fitness classes, the use of mirrors to aid in perfecting movements etc ensuring correct technique is invaluable to confidence and safety
It allows for better practices all year round
Learning to dance or learning any new skill, mirrors help us to learn and understand. It is especially helpful for people with disabilities that may have issues with proprioception to develop new mind muscle connections, encourage confidences and develop skills quicker which assist self-esteem and is especially supportive for those who are struggling to feel motivated and see their improvements that they're more likely to continue participating in the lessons, improve health and wellbeing of entire communities. It will assist in reducing the number of people dropping out when they don't feel like they're improving, or "don't get it". Increasing rates of community act belong commit.
Dancing and events is an integral part of a vibrant city
It would be beneficial to the dance community in Perth of which I am a member and active participant
Room needs mirrors for dancers
Im an active dancer and dance teacher which struggle to find places to teach and what not! I really appreciate all effort dance community is putting towards creating different spaces to dance and express our art.
I am taking dance classes there and the mirrors are very important to that
Dancing without mirrors it’s not the same. When you can see yourself doing the movements you can improve faster and that helps to keep your motivation high. Also it’s is important because you can see the teachers movements so it’s easier to follow them, without mirrors, you can only see their back, not nice
I am currently doing a dance course at the community centre, mirrors are very important for dancers
The current users of the venue would benefit a lot from the added mirrors. The mirrors would also attract more clientele and the venue would be used more frequently.
It improves the usage of the building
Creative facilities are needed.
Perth needs more dance spaces! It's very hard to find availability
We need mirrors when doing class for safety
Because I dance there regularly
I will be using this venue
I am an active member of the dancing community
I assist to classes at this place
to be able to provide a better service to the community and especially to all the people who benefit from the dance classes at the Rod Evans center. It is extremely important to have mirrors. to improve the activities carried out there. for the present and the future.
This space would be perfect with mirrors
The Rod Evans Centre could be a wonderful centre for the many vibrant dance groups in our city contributing to social cohesion, physical health, emotional well-being, and cultural enrichment. Installing mirrors will make this space an invaluable resource.
