The petitioner states that the levels of air pollution in the city of Valencia are much higher than those permitted by EU legislation (Directive 2008/50/EC on ambient air quality and cleaner air for Europe) and put the health of the population at risk. The petitioner also objects to the noise pollution caused by urban traffic.
