A letter to the European Commission!

at 29 Aug 2021 13:54

Today I like to share Kayra Martinez letter to the European Commission that she wrote back in April 2021. She didn’t send it out, because she wanted it to be signed first by NGOs that she knows in Greece. Unfortunately because of her hard work and lack of time she wasn’t able to collect handwritten signatures and so the letter never made it to Brussels.

And that’s why we started this online petition a month ago. I thought it is important for our petition supporters to read what Kayra has written about the horrible and inhuman conditions in Greece. Keep in mind, this letter was written back in April. Meanwhile, everything got much, much worse, not only in Greece but as we all know also in Afghanistan and other refugee camps around the world.

Because of the length of the letter, I can’t publish it on this blog. But you can read the full letter by downloading it here: www.nassima-design.com/HB4N/kayra_letter.pdf

If you like to support Kayra Martinez art workshops for refugees, please visit her website www.lovewithoutborders4refugees.com

If you like to support Kayras other passion project Animals Without Borders, please download a copy of the e-book “Laila, All Colors Matter”, written by me Lily Amis. With your download, Lily4Refugees is able to support the homeless animals (dogs & cats) in Greece. Thank you.
