The federal council and the health authorities have implemented drastic measures to mitigate the corona crisis. But on what basis? What is the data collexcted and how are the effects measured? Hardly any information has been made available. The public has been left in the dark. We therefore request, that the authorities open up all important data and scientific findings, which are used for decision making. The federal council sets up a respective pandemic information office. The purpose of the office is collect all relevant data and makes it available to the public, unflitered and without delay. While maintaining full data protection, working independently but in collaboration with the authorities. Industry, sports and cultural associations should have an advisory role.
Perustelut
Where do infections still take place? How high is the risk? Are there activities prohibited, although they do not pose any risk? What is being done to prevent a new wave? Such questions have to be answered using facts. Only with reliable knowledge and smart action will be a safe way out of the crisis.
It is not just the right to informed government. Also a creative and collaborative approach to find solutions matter. Industry, sports and cultural associations have been left outside. Many good ideas and approaches, how the corona pandemic could have been managed better, have been excluded. This has to change.
