We ask the Belgian Government to reject any asylum request by the deposed Catalan President Carles Puigdemont or any of his secessionist collaborators seeking refuge in Belgium from standing trial for their alleged crimes in their home country Spain, a fellow EU Member State.
Motivazioni:
As Member State of the European Union, close relations with our fellow EU Member States is of utmost importance and we cannot allow those relations to wither due to internal legal affairs in one of those Member States, unless they constitute a breach of EU law.
