Neuer Titel: Keine Entstellung des Linzer Domes

Neue Begründung: (Translation in English: watch some lines down)
Schon viele Kirchen sind dadurch verändert worden, dass ein Mahltisch in die Mitte gestellt wurde. Das II. Vatikanum hat dies nicht gefordert. Es wollte lediglich, dass der Altar - übrigens nicht unbedingt - umschreitbar sein sollte.
Die geplante Änderung ist nicht nur ein Bruch mit dem gotischen Stil, sie ist auch theologisch und liturgisch völlig unbegründet.
Kann sein, dass die Architekten für die Tradition des Glaubens keine Ohren haben. Dann sollte wenigstens bezüglich des Stils ein Einsehen herrschen.
Ein kleiner Rest des christlichen Abendlandes dürfte doch wenigstens aus musealem Grund noch eine Gnadenfrist erhalten.
Apparently, somebody has sentenced the last bastions of Christian Europe to disappear. The reverend metropolitan Bishop is requested to stop this in his beautiful and stylistic cathedral.
Reasons:
Many catholic churches have been modyfied in the last years by putting grinding tables in the mitst. The 2nd Vatican Council did not promote anything like this. It only wished, - and even not unconditionally wanted!, - the possibility of circumambulating altars.
The planned change is not only a break with Gothic style but is also in no way justified by any theologic or liturgic prove. Possibly, the architects have no ears to hear on theologic or liturgic argueing. Then they should recognize at least the idea of the exact building style. There could be a grace time for a small remain of a christian Occident by museal arguments at least. In the name of the signatories Don Michele
