Wozu?

Theoretisch kling "Professur für politische Bildung" ja ganz nett; aber in Wirklichkeit wird das ja (im Unterschied zu vielem Anderen) in der allgemeinen pädagogischen Ausbildung ja eh ausreichend abgedeckt. Es gibt viel zu viel Geschwätz (darunter auch theoretisch-politischer Natur, wie VO Bildungstheorie und Gesellschaftskritik etc etc) und viel zu wenig praxis-orientierte oder gar praktische Ausbildung.

Problemlösendes Lehren/Lernen

In Wien versuchte man mit Politik Didaktik einen Konsens zwischen 2 konkurrierenden Denkschulen herzustellen, war dennoch dem internationalen Trend (bspw. PSHE & Citizenship, brainbased learning) Jahrzehnte hinterher. Solange es keine europäischen Standards für Civic Education gibt, wird dieses Problem bestehen und es wird weiterhin Leute geben die nicht verstehen können, dass problemlösendes Lehren/Lernen kein Labberfach ist, sondern vielleicht sogar das Überleben der Menschen bedeutet.
