Geheim, gleich, Informationsgleichheit

Briefwahl sollte Abgeschafft werden! Nur durch die Wahlkabine kann das Wahlgeheimnis eingehalten werden. Nur durch das persönliche Erscheinen kann verhindert werden, dass ein Familienmitglied für alle anderen wählt (wenn sie bspw. nicht an der Wahl interessiert sind, das Familienmitglied aber zugriff auf ihre Unterlagen haben). Nur durch die Wahl zu einem bestimmten Stichtag kann die Gleichheit der Information durch jeden Wahler gewährleistet werden. Sonst kann eine negative Information über einen Kandidaten die Wahl weniger beeinflussen. Nur in speziellen Fällen sollte Briefwahl möglich sein.

Abschaffung Briefwahl

Die Briefwahl in Deutschland sollte nicht abgeschafft werden, weil man dadurch flexibler ist. Man kann in den Urlaub fahren und hat trotzdem seine Stimme abgegeben. Ein weiterer Gesichtspunkt ist, dass Kranke Menschen auch wählen können obwohl sie nicht zum Wahllokal können. Auch wenn man im Ausland wohnt, aber ein deutscher Staatsbürger ist kann man wählen gehen. Da sich der Weg von zum Beispiel den USA nicht lohnt, können sie per Briefwahl abstimmen.
